The event starts at McLaren Leisure Centre then takes runners along the Invertrossachs Road out to water stop 1 on the bank of Loch Venachar. Runners then retrace their steps before turning north and crossing into Woodland Trust land. A short climb followed by a long sweeping descent takes and a fast flat return to Callander via the old railway line offers further beautiful views across the town and surrounding mountains. The last Km takes runners alongside the picturesque River Teith and back to the Leisure Centre.
