Our newest running event, taking place in heart of the Trossachs – Callander. The Callander 10K starts at McLaren Leisure Centre and takes runners out towards Loch Venacher then on to part of The Great Trossachs Path. Returning into Callander runners pass the River Teith at Callander Meadows and then it’s the final push to the finish!

Loved this race, the route was amazing with a little bit of everything thrown in. Mostly road/cycle path with a little bit of trail, a hill that seems to go on forever and a little lung busting kicker near the end. Marshalls, as with all Tay Fitness events, were superb. Shame that I missed next year’s entry but will definitely be back

Thanks for a great race. My first “real” race since Dec 2019. The rain thankfully went off, but made great puddles for running through, if only we could walk on water as some folk were trying to do🤿. Great event! Recent pandemic times have made me very appreciative of both the camaraderie and competition involved in a race. Like Tay Fitness’s other races (I’ve done a few), this was well organised – easy sign-up, good pre-race info, an interesting route, generous water station provision, and above all, clear and encouraging marshaling. Attractive medal as a momento, and a pleasant surprise that I’d ordered a t-shirt when I entered pre-pandemic two years ago 🙂 I’ll certainly be back for more Tay Fitness events – well done!

This was a very well organised race throughout. My pre race questions were asked quickly and event information was sufficiently detailed and sent out in good time.
The race itself was on a superb route with beautiful scenery which made the most of the autumn colours around Callander. I especially enjoyed the short off road section, probably the highlight of the route for me.
Course was well marshalled and the drinks stations operated efficiently, probably better than at some more established events I’ve done

My first proper race since Jan 2020 and it didn’t disappoint! Despite the weather I had an amazing run at Callander 10k. The route was simply stunning, the piper just after 5k added to the atmosphere and the marshals were simply the best. Every single one had encouraging words….. which I needed! Slick organisation and perfect execution of a fab event. I’ll be back.

Great event. I don’t normally like road runs, but loved this – great route – particularly liked the off road bit with the reward of a piper at the top. And I don’t know how you arranged for the rain to stop just as we started running but it was much appreciated. And really loved the commentator at the finish – great outfit, completely bonkers (in a good way) and so encouraging and entertaining. Thanks to all involved.

Loved this event, route was superb. As usual Pete and his team had everything so well organised. Every Marshall had a smile and a well done. Even the weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of everyone.
What can you say about fun at the start and the cheery finish with your name being called out. Makes you feel special. I will be back and will continue to book the Tay Fitness events. That are simply brilliant.

A fabulous race through wonderfully scenic countryside.
The route is along very quiet roads and paths with a few kilometres of trail – there is even a nice wee hill thrown in at no extra cost.
This is a well organised event with plenty of cheery marshalls along the way and more photographers than you’d find at a Photography Club on free beer night.
Before the event the organisers took the trouble to ask if, because of my medical condition, there is anything I might need from them on the day of the race – of the zillions of other races I have done, no one has every asked this. Nice touch!!

Well organised with a friendly atmosphere. Mini event village at the start / finish with Big Bobble Hats, Active Root, coffee and Tay Fitness t-shirts. Very easy registration and plenty of toilets. Route was lovely and scenic and a great finish with energetic announcer. Looking forward to running again in March.
